You know, nobody really wants to go to a moderated forum.
I've seen what it does to people.
I watched people I know enter moderated forums and they become lifeless.
Their whole personality disapears!
They know if they were to 'speak their mind' they would be ganged up on
and banned.
So they either just speak very quietly or they speak their mind
taking the chance that they will be chastisied for it.
But the only people in the modreated who retain their personality and
express freedom of thought are the moderators and it's hightest "members".
"Members" meaning, the moderators are kissing those members asses.
And the moderators and members flamborantly show their freedom of speech.
Because they know they are immune to being banned.
While the rest of the attendance are cursing in the dark.
If you speak your mind, embarass a member, disagree (God forbid), they respond...
"Oooohhhh, we have a troll among us!"
I don't want to tell you what happens next...it's too heartbreaking.

I believe that trolls should be ignored,
But don't make the mistake of getting them upset,
otherwise, you just give them a reason for living.
Don't use hate speech like the following:
Plonk the bastards
Casterate the trolls
And pointing to web pages that gives directions how to deal with them.
And surely don't *announce* publicly that you're
plonking someone. You might upset them.
There are unintended consquencies to consider.
Okay, here's a silly example...
I'll use me as an example since I'm very creative
and can come up with new ideas never thought of before...
If someone plonks me publicly, I can charge them
a hundred dollars for each plonk.
Ten plonks, is a thousand dollars!
The hundred dollar charge is for me to remove
*my* response to your plonk from Google archives.
You don't want anyone doing background searches
on you in Google Groups and finding out you
wear womens clothes or something like that, or worse.

| You know, responding to yourself is as sure a sign of madness as is talking
to yourself.
Lay off those who tried to set up MWSM - it had nothing to do with those who
didn't want to go. They just saw what they thought needed improving and
tried to do it. It may or may not yet succeed, but either way they had a
shot. It seems the only type of shot you ever have is at trying to belittle
others to bignote your own pointless rantings - that's called insecurity,
and I think you're riddled with it. It's easy to stand on the sidelines of
the battle and criticise - how 'bout you grab a sword, get in there and
actually feel what it like to fight for something, instead of against it?
I've seen you here responding more to your own posts than others, and i
can't decide if you're a troll or just desperate for attention and someone
to agree with you - even if it is yourself. You're like the Gollum of MWS.
