Romantic comedy with the star of 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer'. A young girl
inherits a New York restaurant despite her limited cookery skills. But her
failing restaurant experiences a change in fortunes after she encounters a
mysterious stranger who presents her with a magical crab. Now blessed with
culinary prowess, she attracts the attentions of a talented restaurateur who
tries in vain to resist her mystical charms.

Films like Chocolate and The Butcher's Wife covered much the same ground.
It was whimsical.
After midnight is NOT the time for whimsy.
After midnight is for scary movies that'll keep you from sleeping, or rewd
movies on channel 5 that keep you awake for other reasons.
This would have had a more suitable audience in the afternoon, just before
Countdown.

When they show it at sensible hour and there isn't anything else on
that I usually watch... then I'm sure I'll watch it, I love a good
whimsy :-s :-D so... should I rush out and buy the DVD in case a
decent time slot never happens :-)
