Yeah, if they can't take the blazing flames of Usenet, then perhaps
they're better somewhere else, because it's not just here, but
virtually every newsgroup [the only exceptions I've found so far are
alt.tv.mash and alt.fan.james-bond, and even those can get rocky,
sometimes]. just a Usenet thing, I guess.

Well, you know me well enough to know that I'd be interested in a live
broadcast.

SoHo has a cable internet connection
on the computer behind the bar, does that sound workable? The "Zorro"
video was recorded there, to perhaps give you an idea of the place, and
the guy that shot that would most likely be the cameraman in this case,
as well:
Lawrence Sinclair. Perhaps someone else, but he would be the first
choice.

Or would this be a "radio" type broadcast, just audio? That would of
course be very simple to arrange on this end, simply connect a mic to
the computer, or connect the soundboard to the computer, which they've
probably already done.

I'd say do it on a Monday open mic, let me announce it in my Feb.
column in Playgrounds, so not only would my band do a set, but I could
make sure to attract the better talents of Shadowville for the
broadcast...

Either way would be interesting, and I'm game.

Never surrender! Take no prisoners!
