 | I am after information about upgrading an HP Pavilion 8513 but I can't find all the answers I need on HP's web site.
1. RAM. The product spec says it needs 128MB HP Pavilion 168pin PC100 SDRAM DIMM. Harris Technology have the Kingston HP compatible RAM for $124, which seems rather expensive for a 128M stick. Is it possible to use a bog standard PC100 or PC133 SDRAM stick?
2. HD. The standard HD is a Seagate 10G. What is the maximum size HD the BIOS can handle? And does the motherboard support UltraDMA?
Any assistance will be much appreciated.
