If you are refused entry, can you demand a refund on the ticket?

Would be a cool quasi-civil-disobedience thing - everytime you
pass the cinniplex, stop in buy a ticket, then demand a refund
when you aren't allowed in with food. For extra points pay via
credit card so they are hit with 2x merchant service fee.

We were slapped with this last time we went to the cinema (Tuggerah NSW).
Haven't been there since. Oh, and my sister-in-laws' handbag can hold two
boxes of popcorn chicken ;)

Slapped with what, a bag search? Confiscation of contraband foodstuffs?
