It is quite easy to ridicule a person who is suffering from a mental
illness. Perhaps some more informed responses may be more helpful. Watch
the movie 'A Beautiful Mind' and you will see the types of things people
suffering from delusions and their own realities have to deal with, let
alone their families and friends, if in fact they have any left.
If you can't do anything to help but feel you must do something, ignore the
posts and be thankful for your good health.

That's if he actually has a mental illness. Look, he may well just be a
lonely oddball whose only way to communicate is via Usenet. Just a thought,
wouldn't it be a bugger if he was right about Monday's earthquake.
