When I select an imported dwg object sometimes I have the display option =
of bring forward/send back & other times I don't. I import all dwgs the =
same way so what's going on here?

dwg object sometimes I have the display option of bring forward/send =
back &=20
other times I don't. I import all dwgs the same way so what's going on=20
here?

Depends on whether you import the DWG with the Current View Only option. =
If this is not selected - the lines are part of the model. If it is =
selected it is a detail components. See the difference in model lines =
and drafting lines.
