I thought the formal name was split pins=2E I tried=20 Google and at www=2Escrapwitch=2Ecom=2Eau/shop=2Ephp?category=3D5 I found a reference to "Brads (also known as split pins=20 or paper studs)=2E"
The term "paper stud" was new to me, though I can think of some people whom it might describe=2E
