JOB: Writer/analyst needed in Long Beach
The position is an IT/IS position that is involved in reverse engineering a system that will be delivered at the end of March. Essentially, the automotive company developed a system under a tight timeframe and did not do the documentation that describes the application and how it was engineered. It is like a word problem where you have the question and the solution, but not the "work" in between.
Reorganize and streamline the existing documentation Identify gaps in the documentation and schedule for coverage Interview analysts and developers to "fill in the blanks" Design reports and research methods to find information in the library
Skill set needed:
Understanding and knowledge of business and systems process flows and what documentation "should" be there RUP process and software, Rational product desired Word Visio Excel
