 | I just caught the tail end of the anti-Vietnam war movement. I marched with hundreds of thousands in the streets in Washington. What do we have today, a few isolated pickets here & there? A few really "kewl" websites? Where's the outrage? Where are the masses in the streets? Where's the international pressure to stop the genocide? Why doesn't the Arab world rise up against the American mass murderers? Why doesn't somebody put a bullet thru this fucking monster's head? I never thought I'd live to see another Vietnam. I thought we learned our lesson. How naive. It seems there's just no satisfying the war whores lust for blood. Get me out of this fucking looney bin.
-- Look at the world today. Is there anything more pitiful? What madness there is. What blindness. What unintelligent leadership. A scurrying mass of bewildered humanity, crashing headlong against each other, compelled by an orgy of greed and brutality. The time must come my friend, when this orgy will spend itself. When brutality and the lust for power, must perish by its own sword. -Lost Horizon, 1936
