Little boys sometimes do the strangest things for excitement. To
break the monotony of their young lives, two small lads lay down by the
railroad tracks to feel the track vibrations of the oncoming train, as
well
as to hear its thunderous sound. After it had passed and only the
shadow
of the train had passed over them, they were secure and no harm had been
done to them, even in this seemingly precarious position.
Just so, when we pass through the "valley of the shadow," we only
experience the "shadow."
