 | Jesus Christ spoke, and the universe was created.
In his time, the Son of God, creator of heaven and earth, ruler of creation, came into the world as a baby laid in a manger.
He grew up in the home of a carpenter. When he showed himself to the world, many of the common people were drawn to him, but many of the religious leaders would not believe him.
Those who opposed him supposed they could stop him. But he went to the cross to suffer and die for our sins to reconcile us to God, and he rose again.
He returned to his Father in heaven, and for many generations has drawn people unto himself. He has given them faith to trust him to save them, and has given them eternal life.
Jesus Christ dwells in his people. He is their righteousness, holiness, and redemption. Not one of them will perish; no one can take them out of his hand.
We believe God, not the suppositions of this world. We trust Christ, not efforts, churches, or religions.
Though the wisdom of this world speak against us, we have Christ, the Wisdom of God.
Though the world build itself up and then pass away, we have Christ, the Eternal Life.
Though the world boast of its own righteousness, our righteousness is Christ, the Righteousness of God.
