So, Adam and Eve had to continue to choose to put their faith in God
and to follow His command to remain alive.... Hmm... Interesting.

Sounds a lot like things after the fall...

So, did Adam and Eve choose to sin of their own free will apart from
any determination, was it God's will for them to sin, or did they sin
because it was their nature to sin, and they couldn't do otherwise?

Mmmmm, good questions. I'll try to answer as best I can

So, did Adam and Eve choose to sin of their own free will?
They had the choice otherwise God isnt righteous..... punishing someone for
something they cannot help.

was it God's will for them to sin?
God never wills anyone to sin... its against his nature (Sin being
disobedience to God). But God, knowing they WOULD sin, provided a means of
redeeming hmanity back to him through the Christ.

did they sin because it was their nature to sin?
They were "Very Good" but had lusts. Eve was "enticed", saw the fruit was
good to eat etc. They STILL had the choice, but gave into their desires.
A fat man doesnt HAVE to have the last donut (or the first), but "cant help
himself".... its not that he cant help himself at all! Hes giving into the
desire. Thats the wasy I see Adam and Eve.... as human doing what they knew
to be wrong through weakness.

...... and they couldn't do otherwise?
I used to be a fat man :).... was 30kg heavier last year and through alot of
hard work denied myself and lost the fat. I had choice and so I believe did
Adam and Eve.
Interesting that it says Eve was beguiled but doesnt say Adam was.
