 | What counts when you go into eternity is not
your wealth,
your fame,
your popularity,
your church,
but that you are saved.
There is a Savior.
His name is Jesus Christ,
the Son of God.
He died on the cross for our sins,
and rose again.
Who does he save?
Anyone who trusts him to save them.
Those who trust Christ to save them
are not trusting their church, their baptism,
their efforts, their own righteousness
to save them.
They trust Christ who took their place on the cross,
and he gives them eternal life.
What people trust Christ to save them?
Those who realize that they cannot save themselves,
and that Christ is their Savior.
