 | I have a notebook that has no serial port on it so I have a USB serial port adapter. I have used it for many things but I can not get it to work with Codewarrior Debugger. I am using a MON08 interface and it works great on a regular serial port. Does anyone have any ideas as to why? Any suggestions to try? I installed my Codewarrior on my Notebook when my Desktop crashed and got a my license transferred to the notebook. Now that the USB serial port doesn't work I am stuck without a license again.

If it is just the license and you want it transferred back contact license@metrowerks.com and copy me but if you want to use that with the serial port adaptor I am thinking you will have to configure the address for the port our tech support may be able to help you with that.
