 | Hi,
I'm new to this group and I'm just looking to get some ideas to help me begin my thesis work for my masters in computer science. I am working with the classic logic problems you see in puzzle books. My goal is to interpret the clues given for the problems and put them into a form the computer can understand.
I have already written a program in Eclipse which can take the clues for a logic problem along with it's problem domain and find a solution. This works for quite a few types of logic problems. However, the user has to convert the clues into a simple form the machine can understand.
So, I'd like to know from anyone out there reading this what kind of research has already been done on closely related problems. Any advice or help in tackling this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
