 | Does anyone remember timecube.com? This rivals it, IMHO:
http://www.beyond-science.com/
The, ahem, info on compression is just over half of the way down.
Probably best enjoyed very very stoned.

No, which means I won't be making fun of the guy any time soon (if you read the very bottom it gets quite disturbing; he is clearly schizophrenic with paranoid delusions). People with patents or investors, however are fair game :-D
In fact, I was just reading the other day about how Adam's Platform was finally caught: They removed the codec from the machine and the video still played -- turned out the video was On's VP3. Of course, the fact that he told people he created his invention in ResEdit should have been a tip-off to *somebody!!* (For the uninformed: ResEdit is a Mac resource editor that has nothing at all to do with editing or compiling source code) I first heard of Adam and his scam back in 1997 -- it simply amazes me he was able to string people along for 7 years.
You know, Adam's *real* invention -- the one actually worth investing in -- was the process he devised to fool The Tolly Group and their testing. Either he's quite clever at deception (although that's hard to believe with the ResEdit comment), or the Tolly Group is a bunch of poser idiots.
