 | Kofax website states, "It is Kofax's strongest recommendation that our
customers not install XP SP2."
Yet when I followed-up with an email to info@kofax.com, the response
was that they will not be certifying anything except 6.x and up. We
also use Convera RetrievalWare which hasn't yet certified Kofax 6.x.
So going to 6.x isn't an option for us right now.
Is anyone out there successfully using 5.5.1 on Windows XP with
Service Pack 2?

| I don't have an answer to your question. Just that if they haven't got
around to testing 6.x they are slow. V 7 is due out in spring and at that
time Kofax will no longer support 5.x.
By in large 6.x will support the older release scripts so I wouldn't expect
any problems, but I can understand your caution in avoiding unsupported
configurations.
If you get answers regarding Kofax 5.5.1 and XP SP2, you might want to ask
if they are running "standalone" or "client/server" as that can make a
difference to the firewall.
