Over the weekend, I heard from several sources that Min Moore had died. I
have been attempting to contact Chuck directly to confirm this, and today I
got the sad news that it's true:

For those who didn't know Min, she was a wonderful down-to-earth person who
adored Chuck and was a great help, support, and comfort to him. I'm sure he
will miss her terribly.

No cheers today,
Elizabeth

Thank you very much for relaying this sad message to us.

I had the pleasure to meet Min&Chuck during their trip to Europe some
years ago. Min stays in my memories as a wonderful person, giving and
warm-heartedly. She was full of stories and joy, while Chuck was more
earnest and modest. I hope Chuck will be able to survive without her.
She was a sort of catalyst for his problems and she guided him. We sat
together and talked (among many other things) about the future plans of
Chuck and I found Min steering him clear of troublesome waters...

Please send my condolences to Chuck. Is there anyone near Chuck who is
able to help him through this?

Peace to Min,
Daniel

I met Min in Dagstuhl three years ago, and I can only confirm that. It's
really sad.

I'm so sorry too.
I've met Min & Chuck some 15 years ago in Rochester.
I will remember always that Min was a good wife for Chuck.
Hoping that Chuck has enough power to stand this bad time.

Bye from Germany

May I be amongst the first to offer my condolonces to Chuck and the rest of
his family, even though I didn't know Min personally. I am sure that the
thoughts of all other Forthers around the world will be with them.

I am also so sorry to hear that news. My thoughts go out to Chuck and his
family as well.
Although I never had the pleasure of meeting him, I always felt a special
closeness after working for
Elizabeth years ago. I'm sure many in the Forth community fell the same way.
