Also, I just learned how to set up some rules in Entourage {my email/news reader program} to filter out most of the "trolls" or gripers that I don't care to deal with on this newsgroup. This idea may turn this newsgroup into an enjoyable experience for me. S. James Beall --

If you haven't done so you may want to checkout some other news readers such as Hogwasher, MacSoup, Unison, ..., as well.

I use Emacs GNUS. The learning curve is high, but the end results are great.
I prefer scoring approach.
