$ man muttrc fcc_attach -- Type: boolean -- Default: yes This variable controls whether or not attachments on outgoing messages are saved along with the main body of your message.

Thanks for your replay but it's not my question. I don't need just to not save attachment because I need to keep trace of files sent. I'd like to have instead of the attached file just the name, /home/luca/filesent.pdf
Sorry for beeing not much clear.
How do you suggest to procede?
Thanks luca

Mention the file in the body of the note?

Actually it could be a solution if I write a macro that do it automatically otherwise it's a boring stuff and for sure I cannot be sure if really sent some files or just forgot to write it as note.
New question: how can modify the attach menu to pipe also this macro for write the file name?
Thanks a lot
