Hi there,

I'm looking for a way to filter my mail. What I'd like is
functionality like 'search', except for one small difference. When I
search in the index, Mutt sends my cursor to the first result. Then I
can hit 'n' and go to the next result.

What I would like, is that Mutt _only_ shows the results of the
search, and hide all the other mails. As an example: if I
"filtersearch" for "Marit", I'd like to have a list of all her emails
and all mails with her name in the subject. That would make searching
for an email I knew she sent a lot faster. Perhaps even using the
well-known "search" to search within the filtering results.

Is this possible with the current Mutt?

capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the
safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
