 | I just put in a new MB (MCI) and got a new case as well, hooked
everything up to best of my knowledge, but all I get when I turn it on
are the fans and lights. No beep, nothing boots, nothing happens. I
don't know where I went wrong or what to look for. The board is
suspended by the plastic pegs and not touching any metal, I've tried
re-seating the RAM, and the only plugs that were a little bit ambiguous
between the case and the board are the USB and speaker plugs, they
don't quite match up and I'm not sure if I've got them in the right
places, but I woulnd't think that would matter. The only thing I can
think is maybe the processor needs to be swapped as well? This came
from a PC that was rebooting by itself, had video display problems, and
got stuck in a loop of WinXP repair/install.
