 | For those who haven't noticed or tried it yet (it's hung off the "more" link on the main google.com page, making it a bit obscure), the new "google scholar" search engine, which uses citations rather than links as its scoring mechanism for rank ordering search results, is a treat, though its coverage is still fairly sparse, from reports, in its current "beta release" status. You can give it a try at
http://scholar.google.com/
It gave me significantly more helpful results that the regular google search when I tried this, for example
http://scholar.google.com/scholar?q=minimal.spanning.tree+java+source.code
FYI
