No, no, *not* the overloading example. That's obvious. I should have been
more clear.

I've been talking about polymorphism without inheritance. Ad-hoc-itude :)
was brought up by you. Here was my example, in a mythical dynamic java:

public class One
{
public work() {....};
}

public class Two
{
public work() {....};
}

one = new One();
two = new Two();
someOtherMethod(one);
someOtherMethod(two);

someOtherMethod(thing)
{
thing.work();
}

Yes, it is a polymorphism based upon signature, but there's no overloading
involved at all. Which term for this then? I don't think that you're
saying that this is ad-hoc as well. Thanks.
