 | Hi, I'm looking for information on the running cost of a drum scanner - particularly the 'Dainippon Screen DT-S1030AI desktop'. I did a search on this particular model to no avail. All I know of it so far is that it doesn't run on Mac OSX.
My main concerns are the costs of replacement parts like drums and bulbs - how long do these last before replacement, does it need constant servicing?
Can anyone here help, or direct me to a relevant site or forum?
Many thanks.
(I have already posted to the two scanner groups in this server)

 | Costs on the scanner are minimal. Get a bulb from Screen for about 30 bucks or so and use the ACQUIRE feature in any (old) version of photoshop. Good scanner!
