 | Hi
I have a Zyxel Prestige 660H-ADSL-Modem. On the LAN side I have a server, listening to port 443.
I have setup an SUA access to map the global ip address with the local address of the server. Additionally I have defined I firewall "wan to lan" roule to forward packages from certain wan-adresses to the server for the requested port.
I can access the server from wan-machines. I can also access the server from a lan machine when I use the local adress of the server. But I can't access the server from lan when I use the (single) wan-ip-address of the modem. I expected that the firewall would also forward this calls like they come from outside.
Is there any way that I can access the server from lan by using the wan address?
thank's for any help!
cheers Daniel

Simple answer: No
This is a restriction most "you get what you pay for" devices suffer
