I have come across an OMG Draft Specification for WSDL-SOAP to CORBA
Interworking (ptc/03-07-04), which is quite extensive. Here's a
quick summary for WSDL-IDL Mapping:
(1) maps to module XYZ
(2) maps to interface XYZ
(3) maps to [method] XYZ
(4) For methods within an interface, the input parameters and the
output parameters give rise to two messages. Each attribute name then
becomes part of the pertinent message, and it carries its type
information.
(5) maps to [exception] XYZ
