We're climbing the Festival learning curve. We want to experiment by
incorporating existing voices off the shelf (besides those that were
provided by the Festival package) into our system so we can master the
procedure of adding voices.
We've got the user manuals present and are otherwise ready to start so
we're wondering - can someone point us to some free voices out there -
besides the voices that already come with Festival - that we can play
with? And, while we're at it, is there a *free* corpus of recorded
speech that we can use to create our own Festival voice by going
through the necessary steps (e.g.: pitch marking, etc.)?
