 | I hope someone has figured out how to get around this problem. I have a new computer that is crashing on Dragon Naturally Speaking ver 7. Specifics: Tyan S5101 motherboard, 3.2 gig Intel P4 processor and 2 gig DRAM, Soundblaster Audigy2 ZS sound card. It is the sound card that seems to be a probem. When I get the blue screen of death, a report sent to MS indicates an unknown sound card problem. The card is listed as compatible by ScanSoft- and they have been no help. DNS was upgradeed to sp2 (ver 7.3). At first the BSOD came when the DNS icon was clicked right after the welcome scree and before the progranloaded. Through a series of compromises in the bios, I can now load and oporate the program- bit that is of no help as it crashes randomly during use. I have installed the latest drivers from Soundblaster. I have turned of all hardware acceleration on the sound card (which makes it pretty worthless). Any other ideas?
