 | Thinking of using this display with a PC that will require 640x480 for BIOS and other start-up information. Nothing in Apple's specs suggests the display will work at this resolution. Anybody know for sure whether it will? --David

Comp.sys.apple2 is for the older 8/16 bit Apple II line of computers that predate both the Macintosh and the IBM PC line of computers.
You'd have much better luck asking this question in a comp.sys.mac.* newsgroup. Someone there will be able to help you better.

There has been a discussion on this subject at one of the Mac listserv that I subscribe to in regards to the new Mac mini. So far the consensus is "Maybe", with some saying that trying it could damage the display, rendering it useless. No one is willing to spend beaucoup bucks just to try it!
