 | Hi all,
I lucked out on a ROM 03 GS motherboard, and I was easily able to replace the BRAM battery. Unfortunately, the fastener that holds the battery into the compartment is very delicate, and I broke one of the clips. How hard is it to replace the fastener? I probably shouldn't be too self-conscious about such minor damage, but I feel attached to my computer and I want to take care of it. Thanks, --naijireja

If you want to replace the clip, the most straightforward approach is to buy another battery socket, and swap clips.
Another approach might be to ask if anyone here has one they don't need.
