 | Greetings.
I'm looking for a utility similar to Unix fmt, except with proportional TrueType fonts. That is, I have a text file with hard line breaks after every paragraph. I want said program to then insert hard line breaks where soft line breaks would have occurred had the text file been rendered with a given font, font size (in pixels), and window width (in pixels).
Ideally I'd like this program to be a simple filter I can invoke from the command line, though if I have to jump through a few hoops with a GUI that would also be fine. For example, if there is some web browser which can convert HTML+CSS to a formatted text file, that would also be acceptable. That is, I would use something like the following as input:
My long paragraph of text which I want wrapped goes here.
Anyone know of such a program?
Regards, Tristan
