 | hallo,
ich möchte von numerischen werten in einem form automatisch charts anzeigen lassen. wie mache ich das ? bauche ich ein zusatzprogramm? ich weiss, dass es mit activex geht, ist aber nirgendwo beschrieben. wenn ich ein zusatzprogramm einsetzen muss, gibt es solch ein programm als freeware?

Aus eigener Erfahrung kann ich dazu nichts beitragen. Man liest aber öfter,
dass nicht alle ActiveX-Komponenten mit dBASE funktionieren.
In der Nachricht unten wird TeeChart empfohlen. Wenn dir das zu teuer ist,
musst du mal in Google suchen und Sachen die in Frage kommen ausprobieren.

Charles, depending upon the complexity of your charting needs, you may
wish to buy an ActiveX graphing package that works with dB2K. Of the
few costing in the range of $250-$400 that I have demo'd with dB2K,
TeeChart (http://www.steema.com/) is the one that most appeals to me.
There are several people in these newsgroups that use it, and no one
seems to be complaining. If your charting needs are very simple (bar
charts), you can pretty easily fake it with Shapes or EFs to create
sizeable rectangles. I have done quite a bit of this myself, and it
works well. If you need pie charts, Gary White is working on a
class...see the dde-ole-dll-winapi ng for details/progress.

auf der Visual dBASE 7 CD sind folgende ActiveX-Elemente vorhanden :
ChartFX, Pinnacle-BPS Graph Control, VSI First Impression Chart, VCI Formula
One Workbook und Visual Speller
mit einigen davon kann man Charts anzeigen lassen
