 | Anyone on here got the eircom hi-speed (ISDN) USB mini vigor terminal Adapter - (I am sure there is).
I set someone up with it and selected Draytek MLPPP as the modem in control panel which will give 128k (I also explained that at 128k it will be using 2 lines and 2 lots of Internet call charges) I ticked call bumping as well. Now what I thought it would do is connect up to the internet at 128K but if a phone call was coming in then it would automatically drop the Internet speed down to 64k and then the phone would ring and after the call would automatically go back up to 128K. But what was happening instead is that the Internet was hooking up at 128k and someone was trying to phone in and just getting the engaged signal. Does anyone know why this was? - maybe I am wondering now is it something I did wrong or didnt set it up right or does the Mini Vigor TA wont support call bumping? - as a quick fix I have just set it to Draytek ISDN ppp (64k) so they can get a phone call in whilst still being on the Internet.
Anyone got any ideas?
Cheers a lot,
