I dont mean to sound a bit harsh here, but fuck, the guy makes how much
each year?

I'm sure I read it was over US$100M a year, now ok, so Im not giving
~10% of my wages, but if I was making that much, I probably would and
then some.

And he didn't *have* to give a red cent. What's your point again Dave?

my point was that I think that I'd give more if I had that sort of
cash... in saying that, I see that you can now text "donate" to 883 to
give $3, so thats kinda cool, makes it easier for those of us who dont
have a credit card, and dont have the time to go give moeny.

I have no idea how much MS makes himself, but his company (the Tax
Entity he works for) makes a smallish fortune with all the appearance
fees, sponsorships, endorsements etc. Either way it is a generous move
no matter what percentage it is of his earnings. Even beats Bill and
Melinda Gates contribution IIRC.

Mr Dell gave US$3M, which I thought was kinda pathetic... I gave all I
could, but it hit at a broke time of year... this is one tragedy that
seems to have got through to me, usually I just turn off, change
channels, this one I've been glued to.
