This sure sounds like a TROLL all in itself. How the hell can the
creation of a NEW group (not re-badging an existing group, which there
is no intention of doing) affect the existing groups? It can't!

There already exists many groups that have a moderated on it tandem
with the open group. The observable effect is that the moderated
groups mostly tend to DIE! It is far from the death of Usenet as
predicted!

Hmmmm..... quite frankly the author of this post may well be that
aforementioned TROLL in the groups, fearing a sudden death to its
trolling!

Well Henrietta certainly ID's you as the conservative , our Jews are nice
dont talk about them group? Or the , you can only talk about the things I
approve of in the manner I approve of group?

With those attitudes you dont need newsgroups, read the papers and they will
always say what you want?

cghange my name, so if a group is so upset about myposts they can be
stopped? There is no reason to wipe out te group?

Ah, yes forgery is "wonderful" isn't it - you can generate most
anything with that, can't you. Only it doesn't work for STUPID forgers
even then - considering that the "play on words" you rely on, means
that it now applies to YOU...... TROLL.... or should that be
"TROLLOP"?!?!

The point is dont take a chance that some powerful group, and you agree
there might be one not that keen on newsgroups at all, that would not care
if newsgroups were completely killed off? Rupert and media, Turner and
Hollwood?

I'm archiving the group: the record would be false if I killfiled
anyone. Besides, I don't regard killfiling as a viable approach
anyway. There's always a chance that even the most intransigent
troll will post something on charter, and there's also the problem
that newcomers to a group don't know who to killfile.

(Irrelevant to alt.usenet.kooks, which I've trimmed out.)

Nope. It's just the one group. Since they miss a lot more posts than
I do, however, it's better than theirs for that group.

I read two groups on the same subject one moderated and one open. They
are UK centric F1 racing groups the moderated group is clearly a more
intelligent and satisfying group than the unmoderated one which
degenerates into name calling, abuse and political off topic posts.
