 | 1994 Honda XR200RR.
Brought last year from Peter Glidden Honda in Te Awamutu for a farm bike.
Had a crack in the side leaking oil that I never noticed and seized it.
Spent $1500 inside the motor with new parts rebuilding it back to mint.
(can supply reciepts on request). I knew at the time I was over capitizing
on the bike but never intended to sell it.
It is now better than a good one and just run in.
Starts and runs great.
Everything is striaght on it.
Problems/issues with the bike.
- There are some small holes in the muffler which don't make any difference
to the noise or performance of the bike so I haven't worried about them.
- The seat bolts at the back are warn so the seat just clips on. If you
leave the ground the seat moves round under you which is a bit of a pain. I
don't ride it very hard and don't jump it so hasn't bothered me but if it
will effect a sale I will hunt round the wreakers for a new seat. Current
seat is in good condition with no rips.
Can be seen in Te Awamutu (is still currently being used as a farm bike)
Selling due to giving up milking cows and moving to town. I want a road
bike.
$3500 or swap for a reliable road bike like a GSX400 or Quality 250.
