If you're using a recent version of Opera (7.2+, iirc), right-click in the text area and choose Check Spelling. It may prompt you to install aspell.

So far, the only one that I know to have done so is the open-source project Aspell (which has a slightly klutzy interface). Instructions at http://www.opera.com/support/tutorials/opera/spellcheck/
