It can be played well on both: xine and mplayer. Unfortunatly I don't know how to use that on WindowsMedaiPlayer

Anyway I saw such behaviour several times, and it's really annoying. Myabe viewing my "movie" will help someone tracking the real problem here, Probably my settings from Multimedia tab will be usueful here: Enable plugins=off, Enbale java=off, and rest are on.

Nothing wrong with your desktop being a server, if you have the bandwidth (and appropriate security).
I don't use WMP either, I play mpeg files in RealPlayer or Quicktime.

If you had plugins enabled, then it might be comprehensible. Or some other cases ... there was a recent case where a recipe site had a transparent div over the middle column of their page, the links half-way down the page were unclickable because Opera considered the div as being above them. (They had embedded a "sticky note" graphic in the middle of the page, but the containing div covered half the page.)
But as I said, I didn't see any problems there.

FWIW - If I disable Proxomitron (which hid the flash advert for me the first time I tried to load the page at http://skocz.pl/noflash) I can see the flash, and if I close the flash, the urls previously hidden by it are in fact no longer active. (They were all active when I first loaded the page with Proxomitron active - so this is definitely related to the flash being loaded with the page.)
Another good reason to surf with Proxomitron active ... ;=}

Must be one of those rotating ads - it wasn't there the previous times I looked.
I have seen sites which handle disappearing Flash content properly, that page does not. If I start selecting text and drag from outside where the Flash used to be to inside that area, everything back to the beginning of the text and even the nav links on the left gets selected. As far as Opera is concerned, that region of the page appears before the text. So in other words, the Flash is gone but the div it was in is still there.
