 | I've been wondering if someone has ever made a CSS editor for Opera. I'm not thinking of the user-mode CSS primarily but rather mime.css and = =
such.
If not, these are the features i *think* it should have:
- WYSIWIG preview inside the tool itself. - Automatic locating of the CSS files. - Option to use ANY font on your system. - Creation of a backup of the original CSS on the first edit.
If there is already a CSS editor for Opera, then i would be happy if =
someone could post a link to the tool.

It would have to be able to use Opera's rendering engine... some of the Opera CSS files use features only supported by Opera, IIANM.

Can a third party piece of software use the Opera renderer? If so, then that would be no problem i imagine. If not, maybe there's a workaround by having the preview behave the way = =
you'd expect from Opera. The only problem that this would pose, for as f= ar =
as i can tell, is that you may need to change the way the tool displays = a =
preview if and when the rendering engine is dramatically changed or when= =
new CSS tags get added to the default CSS files. -- =

You see, around 7.5x opera was changed. Before - huge Opera.exe After - tiny launcher Opera.exe and huge Opera.dll (compare with tiny iExplorer.exe and huge mshtml.dll)
And if You scan through Opera's press releases, You will find that new versions of MAcromedia DreamWeaver will use Opera rendered among others :-)

That would be great news, if your info was accurate: http://www.opera.com/pressreleases/en/2002/07/20020702.dml It is about using Opera's rendering engine in web authoring tools _on th= e =
Mac platform_, this is of zero use to Windows users... -- =
