If you surf in user-style mode and have all images replaced by text,
it would be extremely cool if manually loaded images (right-klick,
"load image") would override their replacement.

If you surf with images off, you can rightclick the image box and choose
"reload image". Kind of funny label, since it never actually will reload
an image, only load it if it hasn't been loaded.

You mean with a stylesheet like this?

img[alt] {content: attr(alt);}

I don't see how that could be done... Opera selectively ignoring the
stylesheet?

Yep, only more complicated. :-)

Sort of manual override? I'd like that. Most images on the web are
filler anyway, I care for 1% at most. Activating only those (via mouse
or keys) and still having my basic "text only" style, would be cool
indeed. But maybe there are other ideas for dynamic page modification?
