 | The spacial navigation feature means that Opera knows the physical location of links on screen, not just their position in the HTML so how about a feature where if you hover the mouse while holding the Shift key, the cursor is gently pulled toward the nearest link?
Some links can be fiddly because they use tiny text or images (or they just use a single character as link text etc) so this would be very useful to people who aren't like William Tell on the mouse or browse in high resolutions on smaller screens.

Would be nice for pages that like to use 1x1 pixel images for links

Have you tried the keyboard shortcuts "Q" and "A"?
You can also try the "Links panel" or the shortcut "Ctrl+J".

Yes but neither of these do what I mean. I'm suggesting a completely new feature to compliment all the other methods that would be a simple accessibility aid to rapidly get the pointer over the links you want.
Pressing A and Q can take far too long to be practical (spacial navigation is a much improved keyboard method) and going through panels is even slower. As well as the extra clicking and having to look away from the page for a minute as you concentrate on the panel, you also have to work out which link is the one you wanted. Not easy if the link text is just 'o' as in 'Gooooooooogle' or a tiny icon with no title/alt text.
A magnetic cursor would be as convenient as Shift-clicking to open a new tab or automatic word selection (which I know can be annoying but this is an opt-in feature. You have to hold Shift for it to work).
