 | Why can't I edit my menu from the preferences? Opera doesn't have to do it internally, but surely it could open the file in an editor. (Just like "view page source" does)

Actually, you could easily tell Opera to open your menu setup file in your preferred editor, but I'm not sure that editing while Opera is running is a good idea ...
