I was suprised to discover that 8.0 Beta doesn't contain an "Import" =

option to allow people to import settings infomation for e-mail accounts=
=

(e.g. e-mail addresses & servers), RSS feeds & Newsgroup info.

This has meant I have stuck with the Old (Released) version instead - it=
=

is just too much hassle to have to re-enter all this info.

Please include options to import all settings information in future - =

someone's e-mail set-up information is just as important than their =

bookmarks.

When 8.0 is released, you can simply installed it over the previous
version, and all settings will be picked up automatically. You will
not have to import settings manually.

And if you do want to import/export mail/news/newsfeeds/chat, the
easiest way to do that is to simply copy the entire mail folder.

WARNING! If you copy the mail folder, before you start either version of
opera again, fix all the paths in accounts.ini in the copy, otherwise both
versions of Opera will try to use the same newsrc file. (In my case, since
I deleted the news accounts in the beta, the beta deleted 7.54's newsrc
files and 7.54 has been downloading 250 (mostly read) messages every time
I touch a newsgroup. Now fixed by editing an old backup to current numbers.
