I am in possession of a print of a dog smoking a pipe, entitled "A
Quiet Pipe". It states on the front of it "This is one of four plates
presented to Pears Annual 1907" and "After the original painting by the
late Sir Edwin Landseer RA". I would appreciate any information
regarding this and the other three plates.

Nice link as usual Ronnie. As the article points out, even
contemporaneously, millions of prints were published and they are still at
it.

I will even admit to having two modern repros on my landing wall - little
girls in bed with kittens, etc, because the wife is cat crazy.

But is there anywhere a list of all the illustrations used, the artists, and
when first published?
