Hmm it seems Gatto has released a lot of videos lately for the general
public. Before he just could break all, but didnt want to waste the time.
So do you think he's going for all of them? I mean he crushed the 6 club
record, and then he just crushed the 7 ball record ....

http://homepage.mac.com/anthonygatto/.cv/anthonygatto/Public/7ballsFor10.mov-link.mov

He also released a long 8 ball run, but i dont know if he broke it. I was
just wondering if any body knew if he was going for them all, and if he
does can anyone really compete with him? He has completely annihilated the
previous records by minutes....

Maybe it was a quick way to get a lot of interest.

Is Gatto also the greatest juggler in recorded history?

There will always be the "by what yardstick?" debate, but by the
obvious one, his ability to utterly eclipse the technical achievements
of his peers, the answer is surely Yes.

You made the question easy, though, by asking whether he is the
greatest in *recorded history*, so we don't need to have a tedious
debate about what may or may not have been achieved by the likes of
Rastelli and May et al.

Whatever the reason, with this latest round of
videos it is going to be a long time before the
rest of the world catches up.

There's little question he's the best pure
numbers juggler the world has ever seen.

It appears the 6 club record he just broke HAS been updated. So I guess
the others will follow soon, seeing as the 6 club record was the first one
that was posted.

Does anybody know the addresses of the other movies on that site? (Unless
they are the ones that he password protected)

Thanks

All the videos on that site are the ones you require a password to access.

I dont think any of the vids are password protected. I just bookmarked the
page

http://homepage.mac.com/anthonygatto/FileSharing2.html

And it lets me view all of them

I'm pretty sure that the mac.com page is not password protected, and
hence not part of the off limits section. It also looks like you didn't
know that.

but,

Dear God, show more respect to Gatto and everyone else on this forum
who cares about these videos. Are you insane?? Why would you give out a
means for accessing data you knew was restricted? Luckily i think you
were incorrect, your carelessness concerns me though. Please use more
caution in the future. Sorry to chew you out, but... ugh.

This is by far not a restricted section of videos. Any old search engine
could turn it up, it is on the internet after all. I orginally found out
about the page because someone posted it here. I just assumed that he
wants people to see them since he didnt password protect it, he posted
record breaking runs, and he even put up descriptions of each. I meant no
disrespect to Gatto at all, but i think your going over board saying im
careless. There is no such thing as a "hidden webpage". That can only
happen if its password protected. And he is constantly adding movies, so i
think hes willing to let people see them.

I think what you mentioned about anyone competing with him could be
part of it. Why post your latest record if no one is pushing you?
Yea, some jugglers will get excited for a little while, but then
they'll move on and start posting/talking about other stuff. Perhaps
he realizes he's not getting any younger. Maybe Thorsten asked him to
push the limits further than he could. Maybe after juggling his whole
life and being burned out (enough to quit for a couple of years) for
most of it he suddenly realizes that it pretty darn cool he's the best
juggler in the world so why not have fun with it for a change. Maybe
the WJF got him worked up a little. Maybe we're just lucky to live in
the time of Anthony Gatto.
