Jeeze we're going to need a little more to go on there, Man. ;) (you can't provide -too- many details)
I don't really like lock-backs I prefer slip-joints.

Umm.....sounds a lot like a "throw it away and get a new one" situation. But, if it was a high-end custom, get in touch with the maker. The only lockback I ever had that broke a backspring was a Sheffield "Colonial " that I bought in the 60s. Damned thing just SNAPPED one day. Not too many factory knives are "fixable" after warranty runs out. Luck ......... brianWE Been there, done that.....but so have others. Without the DNA, you can't prove a thing!

Had a buck pocket knife that stopped locking. Tried cleaning out the fuzz and everything. Even put it through the dishwasher (stainless is good for something) and no love. Sent it back to Buck, got brand new replacement. And I had had it for several years.

 | I was hoping someone had some creative ideas for me, like superglue or something crazy.

Oh well heck, in that case... :) Open the sucker up and wrap bailing wire around the handle where the pivot pin is... using your line pliers pull up and then twist down (to take up the slack you made when you pulled up on the wire).
"Crazy" I got. ;)
You still haven't said what kind of knife it is or anything. :/

 | Hey Alvin. It is a small lockback with a plastic handle. It seems to not have any screws in it that would make it able to unscrew it and take it apart. The silver *screw* that holds the handle together has no flathead or philips, it is just flat and smooth. I use it to open boxes. I am not one to throw knives away, until the blade breaks into many parts, bearing unusable. I would of taken it apart already if I could have. Any other ideas?
