| Hello, I'm new here so bear with me.
Blade thickness is 0.12, I'm guessing the scales to be approx. 0.125,
so i would assume that the overall thickness to be approx.
0.375...3/8".
Blade Length is 4.11. The handle is a little longer, overall length
approx. 8.5 - 9.0
I would think that the imprint would be minimal considering the
thickness, but the overall length could be an issue.

Too bad the sellers (making money at it) don't bother with providing
such information huh? :/
Just bought a 12" ceramic rod with a wood handle (sharpening steel)
turns out the rod is 1/2" diameter which is what I was hoping for. :)
But still, it was a "crap shoot". :/

Indeed. Actually, the place I buy from are usually pretty good, they've
measured and weighed stock for me in the past. They don't have this in stock
in the moment so it's a case of finding someone with one...
