look, that's the EASY part- the guy is a fundamentalist; by definition, adheres to clear patterns of behavior and belief. do you think that its schocking or upsetting or, like, eeeevil and shit? grow up, learn some analytical perspective- Bin Laden is a representative specimen, not a bogeyman.

categorically wrong.

astoundingly categorically wrong.

three for three. these are NOT modernized countries. they are rich feudal states that ENCOURAGE fundamentalist beiliefs and radical islam. Saudi Arabia is, in no uncertain terms, the cradle of Bin Laden. Kuwait, little better. Egypt has a civil society that, in every respect, is equal to the Raj in India. they are modern only in that the rich have cell phones.
iraq was the ONLY modern state in the middle east; secular, progressive, national- OUR ALLY FOR TWENTY YEARS until we blew it up.a
your picture of the middle east is extraordinarily uninformed.

well, "bodyguard", the vast majority of the Islamic religious authority realize and preach this. the radicals get more attention becuase they blow shit up, but the mainstream of islam is moderate, inclusive, cooperative.

good god, you said something right! under completely mistaken premises- the VAST majority of muslims are NOT inimical to western progress and prosperity- they just have had a savagely unpleasant expereince at the hands of US foriegn policy, and therefor no reason to trust anything that comes from our lips. they have NO problem getting along with the EU, by way of indicative evidence.
> I like putting the burden where it really belongs. > It is the *muslim* world that needs to condemn these > backward > ideologies.
THEY DO. you do not have the faintest conception of what or who you are talking about. the VAST MAJORITY of muslims condemn terrorism, wish to work to peace and progress is science and society, want democracy, etc.

gee, like in Saudi Arabia? what a joke. you sound like a dog show announcer trying to annouce the NFL playoffs. give up geopolitics and stick to martial arts.
